While the graphic I created may not include every Donkey Kong game, I tried to space it out somewhat so it has a nice variety of Donkey Kong on various Nintendo consoles over the years. Click on the graphic for a larger view.

Star Fox Evolution Timeline

Star Fox Evolution

Since the franchise began in 1993, there have been only four console Star Fox games with a few others on portable Nintendo devices. The reason that I didn’t include the portable versions of Star Fox in my evolution timeline above is because I wanted to show the progression of the character while living up to the highest standards and portable devices usually don’t offer the same quality of graphics that the consoles do. Looking at this timeline, it seems like we’re really due for a new Star Fox console game soon though. The average length between games appears to be about 5 years and it’s been 9 years since the last version came out for Nintendo GameCube. Perhaps we will see a StarFox game on the Wii U. Kirby’s Timeline

To go along with my Zelda and Mario timelines, today I created a Kirby timeline. It shows the evolution of Kirby through the years and features the games Kirby’s Dream Land (Game Boy), Kirby Super Star (SNES), Kirby 64 (N64), Kirby Squeek Squad (DS) & Kirby’s Return to Dream Land (Wii). The Legend of Zelda Timeline

Above is a graphic I made representing Link as he evolved into the character he is today in the Legend of Zelda series. This certainly doesn’t cover every Zelda game out there but it does show the main franchise games that came out over Nintendo’s history on their consoles. Click on the graphic for a larger version.
